The Edwin Wolters Memorial Museum is an outstanding legacy of Shiner's history. Its displays include an antique gun collection, old-time country store, dinosaur bones, embroidery and hand stitchery collections, a delightful doll display, musical instruments, an implement shed, and many other interesting antiques. 

The Wolters Museum is located at 306 S. Avenue I and is open Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm (closed from 12:00pm to 1:00pm for lunch), and Saturday 12:00pm to 4:00pm.

EDWIN & HENNIE WOLTERS HOME

Built in 1915 by the parents of Hennie Wolters.

Newest Addition that was built in the 1950's or 60's.

GENERAL STORE

Donated by the rotary in 1985.

CITY JAIL

Built in the 1900's. The city jail was moved here in 1978.

Built in 1882.
